Captain Thomas Graves was one of the original shareholders of the "Virginia Company of London". He came to VA in 1608 on the ship "Mary and Margaret" and was entitled to 200 acres in VA; becoming one of the first settlers of Jamestown, VA Colony. (Volume IV)
