Jerry “Buddy” Dunlap

Mr. Jerry Dunlap Born October 14, 1933 in Leavenworth, Kansas passed away Monday, August 1, 2011 at Golden Living Center. He was 77 years 8 Months and 19 Days old, Mr. Dunlap was a native of Leavenworth, Kansas., who had lived in Leavenworth, Kansas almost all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, water skiing, trapshooting, and playing guitar for various bands in Leavenworth. He was a self-employed paperhanger and painter, owning his own business for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his Daughters, Wanda Ann Dunlap and Linda Ann Dunlap and Son Richard Allen Dunlap.; Father and Mother Luther Dewey Dunlap, Edith Morrison Dunlap and all of his Brothers and sisters, but one sister, Ruthie.  Bill, Bobby, and John Spinner, Delores Cune, Dorothy Bush, Milton and Merlin Dunlap, Luann Nielson, and Merlene Pettit

Mr. Dunlap is survived by his Sons Verlin Wayne Dunlap and wife Pam Dunlap, Leavenworth, Kansas, Jerry Lee Dunlap and wife Wanda B. Dunlap, Danville, Virginia,  Sister and Brother In-Law Ruth Logan and Ronnie Logan and their 5 children of Leavenworth, Kansas, Daughter In-Law Kathy Cantrell Dunlap, Dahlonega, Georgia wife of Richard Allen Dunlap and several other relatives also survive. Also the Mother of Verlin Dunlap, Leavenworth, Kansas, Jerry Lee Dunlap, Danville, Virginia, Roberta Ann Beauchamp to whom he was married for 20 years.

Mr. Dunlap is survived by 5 Grand children Jason Michael Dunlap and his wife Lindsay Anne Thomasnd, Darin Wayne Dunlap, Christina Barbara Dunlap Kwaak, Lynda Leia Dunlap, and  James Derrick Dunlap 8 Great Grand Children Kaylin Nicole Dunlap, Jack Thomas Dunlap children of Jason Michael Dunlap and his wife Lindsay Anne Thomasnd, Ashley Morgan Kwaak, Jacob Lee Kwaak, Hanna Elizabeth Kwaak, Noah James Kwaak children of Christina Barbara Dunlap Kwaak and her husband Anthony Lee Kwaak, Ethan R. Peterson children of Lynda Leia Dunlap and Rick Peterson, Livvie Morgan Dunlap children of James Derrick Dunlap and Katie Moore

   To Verlin & Jerry, Roberta ,Aunt Ruthie, and of course the extended family. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle Buddy. Many people will walk in and out of our Life's. The one who are taken from us leave footprints in our Hearts & Memories that will be there forever....
